Houston Zoo Wedding

at the Masihara Pavilion

Brad and Dana first connected at the University of Texas at Austin, but it wasn’t until they both moved to Houston that they became inseparable. Brad took Dana on a first date to J. Black’s and it has been a whirlwind ever since! After an elaborate proposal, which included different locations around Houston, Dana and Brad began to plan an incredible Houston Zoo wedding that was the perfect blend of elegant and fun.

After an emotional first look at Hermann Park followed by a gorgeous wedding ceremony at St. Paul’s United Methodist, everyone made their way to the Houston Zoo for an incredible dinner and epic dance party. The Houston Zoo is a wonderful, unique venue for a wedding reception! And located by the African Forest, the Masihara Pavilion is a covered space where guests can celebrate as well as interact with some of the Zoo’s fascinating creatures.

We loved all the special touches that Dana and Brad included in their wedding day from Brad’s painted animals showing guests their assigned table to the ribbon Dana imprinted with her Dad’s signature. Since Dana’s father passed away four years ago, she carried this memento with her down the aisle. From start to finish, from tears to laughter, Dana & Brad’s wedding day was filled with deep meaning and great joy. Congrats Dana and Brad!
