LExi & Garret’s hermann park engagement portraits

Lexi and Garret first met when they were teenagers and have been dating ever since!

Lexi, in nursing school, tells their proposal this way:

It was a normal week, I had class every day and he had work. I had just finished my clinicals for the quarter and so I was allowed to get my nails done finally! My friends set up a spa day for us to go get our nails done together and go shopping (little did I know this was all for the engagement!!) I got a message on Facebook from a photographer friend of ours asking me to take some pictures on Sunday afternoon for a promotional offer. Sunday came and we went to church and came home and I started getting ready for the pictures and Garrett “left to go out of town” or so I thought!! Once I got to the field for pictures, the photographer took pictures of me just like she said she was going to but as we walked we came up to an old barn and there was pictures of us hung on it! And I turned around and Garrett walked out and got on a knee!! It was the sweetest thing and he was so nervous! He had been planning it for months and I had no idea!!

They have a sweet dog named Harley and love to be outside so we thought a perfect place for their engagement session would be on the gorgeous oak-lined streets of Houston’s museum district and later we could take some Hermann Park engagement photos. Check out some of our favorite images from their session below!
