Galveston Engagement Photos | Galveston Photographer | Lauren & Bryan

Lauren and Bryan met a few years back while waiting tables at Joe’s Crab Shack. Lauren only worked there for one summer and then went back to school in New Orleans.  But the next summer she came home to visit her parents and Bryan asked her on a date. It ended up being the most expensive first date ever for Bryan, as his truck ended up being towed! Lauren felt so bad for Bryan that she offered to take him out on a second date, and the rest is history!

In January, Lauren had planned a nice evening in Galveston for Bryan’s birthday. Yet once they got to Galveston, Bryan completely surprised Lauren by taking her up to a private balcony and proposing in front of the Mardi Gras gate. Well done Bryan!  Now that these two are engaged, we of course had to create some fantastic Galveston engagement photos with them at the Mardi Gras gate and The Tremont House — which just so happens to be where these two will be getting married later this year!  We had so much fun, we completely lost track of time wandering around the back alleys of the Strand and down to the beach where we created some pretty spectacular night portraits with the neon lights of Pleasure Pier in the distance.

Congrats on your engagement Lauren & Bryan! We can’t wait to capture your Tremont House Wedding!
