Julia Ideson library Wedding

Sarah and Andrew first met at a book club, and so it was only fitting that their wedding was set inside the historic Julia Ideson Library! They combined their love for books with their love for travel throughout their wedding. We loved all of the little bookish details from obtaining your table number from antique library catalog drawers to the beautiful stamps adorning their invitations featuring memorable authors and places. Although a rainstorm rolled in shortly before their ceremony, we’ve never seen a couple so laid back and focused on the joy of celebrating their marriage with family and friends!

The historic Julia Ideson Library is a stunning and historic wedding venue set in the heart of downtown Houston TX. I mean, we could stare at its architecture all day long, especially that jaw-dropping ceiling! Violet and marine blue tablecloths with stunning white and blue hydrangea centerpieces decorated the tables. Each table was marked with a travel location on Sarah & Andrew’s travel itinerary! We loved all of the personal details Sarah & Andrew added to their day, and especially the gelato bar from their favorite Gelato bar in the Heights. It was such an honor for us to capture Sarah & Andrew’s Julia Ideson Library wedding. We wish them every blessing as they enter into this new chapter of their lives together!
